In the edition of the book available here, I have decided to include additional illustrations prepared by me (the translator) for the purpose of depicting the appearance of particular characters, places, or events. This time I decided to experimentally use a new tool that has recently been made available to the public. We are talking about the technology of generating images by AI (artificial intelligence) algorithms based on the guidelines provided by the user to the appropriate console.
It sounds amazing, but personally I see such technology as simply another tool for creating computer graphics. We can use a simple analogy of this type here: once upon a time, all vegetables and fruits had to be cut, but at some point a kitchen blender technology appeared, which gives you the ability to put different ingredients in different proportions, and then when you run it, you get a new product that is a combination of the ingredients you put in before.
The same is true of the AI graphics generator, the key is the inserted ingredients in the form of text descriptions, special commands, or overview graphics, which will decide what the end result should be. For example, for the creation of Saraf graphics, the key was to provide guidelines such as: age, body build, hair type, ethnicity, personality type, profession, what position she should be in, details of the environment, light, camera type, lens for the generated graphics, etc.
